RZI Sliven recommended that water in the village of Ticha and five other villages in Kotel municipality not be used for drinking

The Regional Health Inspection (RZI) in Sliven has advised residents of six villages in Kotel municipality—Ticha, Ostra Mogila, Orlovo, Topuzovo, Filaretovo, and Malo Selo—not to use tap water for drinking or cooking due to microbial contamination found during routine monitoring on June 8, 2026. The RZI issued orders to 'Vik-Sliven' JSC to implement hygiene and epidemic prevention measures and restore water quality. Residents will be informed once the water meets safety standards after further testing. Heavy rains on June 4 caused flooding in Ticha, leading to significant damage.

Регионалната здравна инспекция (РЗИ) в Сливен препоръчва водата, подавана от „ВиК – Сливен“ ООД в шест населени места в община Котел, временно да не се използва за пиене и приготвяне на храна, а само за битови нужди, съобщава инспекцията на своя сайт.

Препоръката е издадена след извършен планов мониторинг на водата, предназначена за питейно-битови цели, и изследване на проби, взети на 8 юни 2026 г. Установено е несъответствие по микробиологични показатели с изискванията на Наредбата за качеството на водата, предназначена за питейно-битови цели.

Несъответствия са констатирани в селата Тича, Остра могила, Орлово, Топузово, Филаретово и Малко село.

РЗИ – Сливен е издала предписания на „ВиК – Сливен“ ООД за предприемане на задължителни хигиенни и противоепидемични мерки и за възстановяване на качеството на питейната вода.

От здравната инспекция посочват, че след възстановяване на качеството на водата и потвърждаването му чрез контролно пробовземане и лабораторни изследвания населението ще бъде своевременно информирано.

На 4 юни проливни дъждове причиниха наводнения и излизане на река Черна от коритото й. Най-пострадалото място бе село Тича, където бяха наводнени къщи и бяха причинени много щети.
