A gang that stole tools and construction materials from construction sites has been dismantled.

A criminal gang involved in stealing tools, electrical equipment, construction materials, and household appliances from construction sites and under-construction buildings in northern and southern suburbs of Attica has been dismantled by the police department of Varkiza-Voula-Vouliagmeni. Εξαρθρώθηκε από το τμήμα Δίωξης και Εξιχνίασης Εγκλημάτων Βάρης - Βούλας - Βουλιαγμένης, συμμορία που διέπραττε κλοπές εργαλείων, ηλεκτρολογικού εξοπλισμού και οικοδομικών υλικών  από εργοτάξια και υπό ανέγερση οικοδομές, σε περιοχές των βορείων και νοτίων προαστίων της Αττικής.

Στο πλαίσιο αστυνομικής επιχείρησης που πραγματοποιήθηκε στις 7 Ιουνίου, συνελήφθησαν δύο αλλοδαποί ηλικίας 43 και 51 ετών , ενώ στη δικογραφία περιλαμβάνεται ακόμη ένα άτομο που έχει ταυτοποιηθεί .

Οι κατηγορούμενοι αντιμετωπίζουν, κατά περίπτωση, κατηγορίες για σύσταση συμμορίας και διακεκριμένες κλοπές κατ' εξακολούθηση και κατά συναυτουργία.

Σύμφωνα με την αστυνομική έρευνα, τα μέλη της ομάδας δρούσαν τουλάχιστον από τον Νοέμβριο του 2025, έχοντας διακριτούς ρόλους . Οι κατηγορούμενοι εντόπιζαν εργοτάξια ή οικοδομές, παραβίαζαν συστήματα ασφαλείας και αφαιρούσαν επαγγελματικά εργαλεία, ηλεκτρολογικό εξοπλισμό, οικοδομικά υλικά και οικιακές συσκευές.

Ένα από τα μέλη φέρεται να είχε αναλάβει τον ρόλο της επιτήρησης του χώρου, προκειμένου να ειδοποιεί τους συνεργούς του σε περίπτωση παρουσίας αστυνομικών.

Κατά τις έρευνες στις οικίες των συλληφθέντων κατασχέθηκαν ρούχα που χρησιμοποιήθηκαν κατά τη διάπραξη των κλοπών, καθώς και πλήθος κλοπιμαίων, ενώ κατασχέθηκε και το όχημα που χρησιμοποιούσαν ως μέσο τέλεσης των αξιόποινων πράξεων.

Μέχρι στιγμής έχουν εξιχνιαστεί 13 περιπτώσεις κλοπών σε Βάρη, Βούλα, Βουλιαγμένη, Γλυφάδα, Παλαιό Φάληρο, Φιλοθέη και Μαρούσι. Οι συλληφθέντες οδηγήθηκαν στην αρμόδια εισαγγελική Αρχή.
