Yordanka Christova was awarded the title of 'Honorary Citizen of Tsarevo'

Yordanka Hristova, an estro singer, was awarded the title of 'Honorary Citizen of Tsarevo' during the 35th session of the Municipal Council in Tsarevo. The honor was bestowed in 2025 during the city's anniversary celebrations but could not attend the ceremony at the time. Естрадната певица Йорданка Христова получи званието „Почетен гражданин на Царево". Това стана по време на 35-ото заседание на Общинския съвет в Царево.

Отличието ѝ беше присъдено през 2025 година по време на празника на града, но певицата не успя да присъства тогава на самото награждаване. На сесията то ѝ бе връчено от кмета на община Царево Марин Киров като признание за нейния принос към българската култура и за връзката ѝ с Царево.

Приемете това почетно звание като жест от името на Общината, Общинския съвет и нашите съграждани за огромния принос, който имате за българската песен и изкуство, но и за нашата малка общност, която наричаме Царево. Радваме се, че човек като вас със своите морални принципи, възгледи за живота и успехи е сред нас, не просто днес. Защото така животът ни става по-хубав, а ние по-добри, каза кметът.
