"Vidjeli smo svega, sve ono što donosi nogomet i u pozitivnom i negativnom smislu. Vidjeli smo i dobrih i loših utakmica, novih mladih igrača koji su se istaknuli i to je ono što čini nogomet lijepim", rekao je Kruno Jurčić u analizi za HRT nakon utakmice Španjolske i Zelenortskih Otoka te nastavio:
"To je ljepota nogometa. Možemo vidjeti kakvu su poruku reprezentativci Zelenortske Republike poslali svim dječacima koji se žele baviti nogometom. Postoji nada, šansa bez obzira na to protiv koga igraš. Španjolci žele biti u top formi za 35 dana, odnosno igrati finale. Nije mi veliko iznenađenje kako su danas igrali, oni su daleko od prave forme. Željeli su u 'leru' proći ovu prvu utakmicu jer su na drugoj strani imali dobro raspoloženog suparnika."
