Spotify, the world's most popular audio streaming service, has gone down across the UK this afternoon, leaving thousands of music lovers furious.
The majority of customers (57%) are having trouble accessing the app, while others are reporting problems with the platform's audio streaming service.
Some users have been unable to log in altogether, according to Downdetector.

Spotify warns the outage may affect 'subscription status, account deletion and login'
Spotify has released a further statement explaining today's outage.
It reads: "Hey folks! We're currently looking into an issue that is affecting some of our services and you may have noticed some things looking out of order on your accounts.
"In case you're experiencing login issues, odd changes to your subscription status, you're having troubles with account deletion or other services, this is likely related to the current situation.
"We thank you for the patience while we're looking into this. We'll keep you posted."

Spotify Premium users demand refunds
Furious Spotify customers who pay for a premium subscription have demanded they get their money back as services remain disrupted due to an outage.
"How about you return some money to customers for app not working correctly. What am I paying premium for???," one fumed on X.
Another said: "Always the same! Is this what we're praying premium for????????"
Spotify Premium in the UK starts at £5.99 per month for students and £12.99 per month for adults.
