Sporting officially hired Silas Andersen

Sporting CP officially announced the signing of Danish midfielder Silas Andersen. The 21-year-old player comes from Swedish club BK Häcken and has signed a contract until 2031 with a release clause worth 80 million euros. Andersen previously played for Dutch club Utrecht, Danish club FC Copenhagen, and Italian club Inter Milan before joining Häcken last year. He has represented Denmark at all levels from under-16 to under-21. O Sporting oficializou esta terça-feira, 9 de junho, a contratação do médio dinamarquês Silas Andersen.

O centrocampista de 21 anos chega a Alvalade oriundo dos suecos do BK Häcken e assinou até 2031, tendo ficado blindado com uma cláusula de rescisão de 80 milhões de euros.

O jogador estreou-se no futebol profissional ao serviço dos neerlandeses do Utrecht e já passou pelos dinamarqueses do FC Copenhaga e pelos italianos do Inter de Milão na formação. Estava no Häcken desde o ano passado e é internacional pela Dinamarca em todos os escalões entre sub-16 e sub-21.

"A cidade é muito bonita e já estive na Academia Cristiano Ronaldo, que também parece muito boa", afirmou às plataformas digitais do clube.

"O Sporting joga as competições europeias todos os anos, está na Liga dos Campeões de novo e é um passo fantástico para jogadores mais jovens crescerem. Jogar na Champions é algo com que sonhamos desde que somos pequenas crianças. É algo que os jogadores ambicionam e o que posso dizer é que é fantástico ter a oportunidade de dar o passo de jogar contra as melhores equipas do planeta", acrescentou.

Silas Andersen sucede aos também reforços anunciados Rodrigo Zalazar, Pedro Lima e Issa Doumbia, todos médios.
