MANILA, Philippines – The cast of Man of La Mancha takes the Rappler Live Jam stage on Thursday, June 18.

Inspired by the novel The Ingenious Gentleman Don Quixote of La Mancha, the musical Man of La Mancha features a fictionalized story of acclaimed writer Miguel de Cervantes , who must learn to defend himself from his fellow prisoners after he is jailed by the Spanish inquisition.

Cervantes later transforms into Don Quixote in a play within the production.

Staged by Repertory Philippines, Man of La Mancha stars Nonie Buencamino as Miguel de Cervantes and Don Quixote, Katrine Sunga as Aldonza, and Marvin Ong as Sancho Panza. The musical made its Broadway debut in 1965.
