All 12 people on board were killed in a plane crash in Missouri

A small plane crashed in Missouri, killing all 12 people on board, including skydivers. The aircraft took off from Butler Airport on Sunday around 11:35 local time but suddenly turned sharply to the left and crashed approximately 270 meters from the runway. According to airport manager Dennis Jacobs, the pilot likely attempted to land on a nearby highway but the plane nose-dived into the ground. The plane caught fire immediately after the crash. Investigators from the National Transportation Safety Board are looking into the cause of the accident, which could take several months to determine.

Jednomotorové turbovrtulové letadlo provozovala společnost Skydive Kansas City, která podniká od roku 1998 a má sesterské společnosti zabývající se seskoky padákem v Indianapolis a Wisconsinu.
