A shocking event in Zagreb: The first two Chinese leopards in Europe this year have been spotted

Two cubs of Chinese leopards were born at the Zagreb City Zoo, marking the first such births in Europe this year according to the European Association of Zoos and Aquaria's data system (ZIMS). The father, named Tadzik, is ten years old and was transferred from Krakow, Poland, while the mother, Odilia, is three years younger and came from Haag, Austria. Odilia withdrew from her partner and retreated into the rear enclosure when she sensed labor. The cubs were born late in April. Staff have been closely monitoring Odilia’s pregnancy and the cubs’ development, ensuring they are undisturbed by zoo

Roditelji i prvi dani u brlogu

Uloga zooloških vrtova i brižna majka

Samotnjak Tadzik i odvažna Odilia
