Ono što se mesecima najavljivalo kao jedan od najvećih muzičkih događaja godine, danas je i zvanično preraslo u istorijski fenomen. Koncert „Festival južnog vetra“, zakazan za 27. jun na Tašmajdanu, koji je rasprodat je za manje od mesec dana, potvrdio je ono što su generacije fanova odavno znale – muzika južnog vetra ne poznaje vreme, granice niti zaborav.
Interesovanje publike iz Srbije, regiona, ali i iz svih krajeva sveta prevazišlo je i najoptimističnija očekivanja organizatora. Hiljade ljudi žele da budu deo događaja koji će prvi put posle čak 40 godina okupiti najveća imena i pesme jedne epohe koja je zauvek promenila muzičku scenu Balkana. Karte su nestajale neverovatnom brzinom, a društvene mreže, telefoni i mejlovi organizatora bili su preplavljeni porukama fanova koji su tražili još jednu priliku da prisustvuju ovom spektaklu.
Upravo zbog ogromnog interesovanja i bezbrojnih molbi publike, doneta je odluka koja će obradovati sve one koji nisu uspeli da obezbede svoje mesto za prvi koncert.
„Festival južnog vetra“ dobija i drugi datum!
Drugi koncert biće održan 26. juna na Tašmajdanu, dan pre već rasprodatog spektakla, a na njemu će nastupiti svi ranije najavljeni izvođači. Tako će publika imati još jednu priliku da uživo doživi veče puno emocija, nostalgije i bezvremenskih hitova koji su obeležili živote miliona ljudi.
Vest o otvaranju drugog datuma dobila je dodatnu težinu i simboliku jer je prodaju karata zvanično otvorila Suzana Jovanović, pevačica čije ime zauzima posebno mesto u istoriji Južnog vetra.
Njen dolazak na koncerte predstavlja mnogo više od još jednog nastupa. To je događaj koji nosi snažnu emotivnu poruku, kako za publiku, tako i za samu umetnicu.
Baš na ovim koncertima, Suzana Jovanović nastupiće prvi put posle 27 godina, a ova dva nastupa ujedno će označiti i njen veliki povratak na muzičku scenu. Posle skoro tri decenije odsustva sa velikih estradnih događaja, Suzana će ponovo stati pred publiku koja je nije zaboravila.
Njen povratak dolazi u posebno emotivnom trenutku života. Nakon velike porodične tragedije i gubitka supruga, estradnog maga Saše Popovića, Suzana je odlučila da ponovo zapeva i vrati se publici koja ju je godinama volela i podržavala.
Kako je i sama istakla u najavi, poziv organizatora nije mogla da odbije. Pre svega, zbog zahvalnosti prema južnom vetru, kući koja joj je pružila priliku da ostvari neke od najvažnijih trenutaka svoje karijere i snimi pesme koje su vremenom postale deo kolektivnog muzičkog pamćenja.

Devedesetih godina Suzana Jovanović snimila je tri albuma u produkciji južnog vetra, ostavljajući neizbrisiv trag u istoriji ovog muzičkog pokreta. Pesme poput „Rođeni u pravo vreme“, „Nema kajanja“, „Poslaću ti ljubav“ i „Ko me jednom prevari“ i danas se pevaju istim žarom kao kada su prvi put objavljene.
