19 Menschen haben am Abend in einem Einkaufszentrum in in Rostock-Schmarl über Atembeschwerden geklagt, nachdem dort unbekannte Täter Reizgas versprüht haben sollen. Die Filiale eines großen Supermarktes und die angrenzende Ladenpassage wurden evakuiert und vorübergehend geschlossen, wie die Polizei mitteilte.
Mitarbeiter des Supermarktes hatten die Einsatzkräfte alarmiert. Die Berufsfeuerwehr Rostock rückte mit neun Fahrzeugen und rund 20 Kräften von Feuerwehr und Rettungsdienst aus.
Die Menschen in dem Einkaufszentrum wurden vor Ort untersucht und medizinisch versorgt. Ins Krankenhaus musste niemand. Die Feuerwehr lüftete die Räumlichkeiten anschließend. Die Polizei ermittelt nun wegen gefährlicher Körperverletzung.
