After the closure of KiKa in Maribor, a new retail chain is coming to this location

Maribor24 reports that the German variety-store chain NKD is opening a new branch in the Pobrežje district of Maribor, at the former location of the now-closed Kik store. The company describes it as a strategic decision based on a good location and confirms that its existing NKD branch in the nearby Mercator centre will keep operating in parallel. The new store officially opens this Thursday at 8 a.m., with some opening-day discounts and offers for the first customers.

Prebivalci Pobrežja bodo v kratkem opazili spremembo na lokaciji nekdanje trgovine Kik. Tam se namreč ureja nova poslovalnica trgovske verige NKD. Kot pojasnjujejo pri podjetju, gre za strateško odločitev, saj gre za novo, dobro lokacijo.

Odprta ostaja tudi poslovalnica v bližini

Ob tem se med potrošniki pogosto pojavlja vprašanje, kaj to pomeni za že obstoječo poslovalnico NKD, ki deluje v bližnjem Mercator centru na Pobrežju. Iz podjetja so potrdili, da odprtje nove trgovine ne prinaša zapiranja stare. Obe poslovalnici bosta na Pobrežju zaenkrat delovali vzporedno in povsem normalno naprej.

Vrata odpirajo v četrtek ob osmih zjutraj

Uradno odprtje novih prostorov je predvideno za ta četrtek, ko bodo prve kupce sprejeli ob  8. uri zjutraj . Čeprav se v ozadju odprtja ne pripravlja velikanski spektakel, pa so s podjetja NKD sporočili, da obiskovalce prvi dan vendarle čaka nekaj ugodnosti in popestritev.
