Research shows that 54.3% of the population is in favor of impeachment of STF ministers

A majority of Brazilians support the impeachment of Supreme Court ministers, according to a survey by Futura/Apex. The poll found that 54.3% of respondents are in favor, while 29% oppose it and 17% are unsure. Support has decreased slightly compared to previous months, with 57% in May and 55.4% in April. Additionally, 54% of respondents approve of classifying criminal gangs as terrorists.

A maioria da população brasileira é favorável ao processo de impeachment de ministros do Supremo Tribunal Federal (STF). Segundo pesquisa Futura/Apex, divulgada nesta terça-feira (16), 54,3% dos entrevistados disseram ser favoráveis, enquanto 29% se declararam contra e 17% disseram não saber.

Apesar da ampla maioria, o índice oscilou para baixo, já que em maio este número somava 57%. Em abril, 55,4% diziam ser a favor do impedimento de ministros da Corte. A desaprovação do trabalho dos ministros supera 51%, ao mesmo tempo em que 38,3% aprovam e pouco mais de 10% não souberam responder.

O levantamento ainda apontou que a maioria dos brasileiros é favorável a considerar as facções criminosas como terroristas. Para 54% dos entrevistados, esta classificação é aprovada, enquanto 35% dos brasileiros discordam.

Metodologia

Foram entrevistadas duas mil pessoas pela Futura Inteligência entre os dias 8 e 12 de junho de 2026, em pesquisa contratada pelo próprio instituto. O nível de confiança é de 95% e a margem de erro é de 2,2 pontos percentuais, para mais ou para menos. O registro no TSE é o nº BR-01461/2026.
