Peter Magyar po wyborze na premiera Węgier

Były premier Węgier Viktor Orban uda się w pierwszą oficjalną podróż zagraniczną po utracie władzy do Brukseli. W przyszłym tygodniu ma wziąć udział w spotkaniu przywódców grupy Patrioci dla Europy - poinformował portal Euronews. Viktor Orban uda się do Brukseli 17 czerwca, aby spotkać się z liderami grupy Parlamentu Europejskiego, Patrioci dla Europy, jako przewodniczący swojego ugrupowania Fidesz. W spotkaniu weźmie udział między innymi premier Czech Andrej Babisz. Liderzy omówią stanowisko na szczyt Unii Europejskiej rozpoczynający się następnego dnia - podał tygodnik "HVG".

Peter Magyar będzie reprezentował Węgry na unijnym szczycie
Szczyt Rady Europejskiej odbędzie się w dniach 18-19 czerwca. Węgry będą na nim reprezentowane przez nowego premiera Petera Magyara.
Powołana w 2024 roku grupa Patrioci dla Europy liczy obecnie 84 eurodeputowanych, w tym dwoje z Polski: Annę Bryłkę i Tomasza Buczka (Konfederacja Wolność i Niepodległość). Jest trzecią najliczniejszą siłą w Parlamencie Europejskim.
Porażka Orbana
Tisza premiera Magyara zdobyła 12 kwietnia 141 mandatów w 199-osobowym Zgromadzeniu Narodowym, kończąc 16-letnie rządy Viktora Orbana. Wynik ten dał Magyarowi większość konstytucyjną.
