En kvinna har under tisdagen träffats av kulfragment i överkroppen på en skjutbana i Piteå. Enligt polisen ska kvinnan vara vaken och talbar.

Polisen utreder ärendet som en arbetsplatsolycka och kvinna ska ha klarat sig utan några allvarliga skador.

Hon är förd med ambulans till sjukvård.

”Polispatrull har hållit förhör med personer på olycksplatsen. Förhör har även hållits med den drabbade kvinnan”, skriver polisen på sin hemsida.

Händelsen utreds som arbetsplatsolycka eftersom kvinnan deltagit i övningen inom ramen för sitt arbete.

– Personen jobbar inom säkerhetsbranschen, säger Åsa Mjörndal, presstalesperson på polisen, och förtydligar att det inte rör sig om en militär eller polis.
