Novi gradonačelnik bi povećao cijenu ulaznice u Veneciju

Prijedlog novog gradonačelnika Venecije Simonea Venturinija o mogućem znatnom povećanju cijene ulaznice za jednodnevne izletnike u taj sjevernotalijanski grad kanala potaknuo je rasprave, piše u petak agencija dpa.
- Ako trenutačno ta cijena iznosi između 5 i 10 eura, moj je prijedlog da se ona određenim danima poveća na između 30 i 50 eura, prenio je u petak list Corriere della Sera izjavu gradonačelnika Simonea Venturinija .
Venturini je na lokalnim izborima krajem svibnja pobijedio kao kandidat desnog centra, naslijedivši na toj funkciji Luigija Brugnara koji je gradonačelničku bio deset godina.
Ove godine Venecija posjetiteljima koji u gradu borave kratko naplaćuje ulaznicu od 10 eura u razdoblju od 60 dana, sve do kraja srpnja . Ulaznicu plaćaju čak i ako provedu tek nekoliko sati na ulicama oko Trga svetog Marka i mosta Rialto. Oni koji ulaznicu rezerviraju barem tri dana unaprijed, plaćaju je pet eura.
Svrha ovakve mjere je obuzdati masovni turizam, ali kritičari već neko vrijeme tvrde da trenutačna cijena ulaznice ne utječe na odvraćanje bilo kojeg turista od posjeta Veneciji.
Tijekom izborne kampanje, novi venecijanski gradonačelnik Venturini predložio je povećanje cijene ulaznice u određenim danima kada se očekuje posebno velik broj jednodnevnih izletnika.
On međutim nema ovlasti za povećanje cijene ulaznica. I premda je naknada uvedena, sukladno općinskom pravilniku, gornja granica je određena nacionalnim zakonom.
Venturini se stoga mora konzultirati s vladom u Rimu.
Stručnjak za ustavno pravo Ludovico Mazzarolli za list Corriere della Sera je iznio određene pravne prepreke, kazavši kako bi se naplata ulaznice po cijeni od 50 eura mogla protumačiti kao ograničenje slobode kretanja.
