Culiacán, Sin a 18 de junio. - Al asistir el cambio de mando de la Tercera Región Militar con sede en Mazatlán , la gobernadora interina, Yeraldine Bonilla Valverde dijo que van a estar siempre en coordinación para mejorar la seguridad de Sinaloa.

Durante la ceremonia de protocolo militar, el Oficial Mayor de la secretaria de la Defensa Nacional, el general de división de Guardia Nacional, Hernán Cortes Hernández, le tomó la protesta de Ley al nuevo comandante, al general Alejandro Vargas González .

Nombran a Alejandro Vargas nuevo comandante de la Tercera Región Militar en Mazatlán; Sinaloa refrenda coordinación en seguridad.

En el evento celebrado en la ciudad de Mazatlán , la mandataria estatal interina dio la bienvenida al general Vargas y estableció que van a seguir trabajar de la misma manera en la mesa institucional y en la de seguridad que se realizan todos los días.

Citó que este cambio al interior de la Tercera Región Militar obedece a los criterios de los mandos superiores de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional, quienes son los que deciden los relevos en los distintos cuarteles y el tiempo que permanecen en los cargos los comandantes .

Nombran a Alejandro Vargas nuevo comandante de la Tercera Región Militar en Mazatlán; Sinaloa refrenda coordinación en seguridad.

En este relevo, se dio a conocer que el general Vargas González , cuenta con una trayectoria de 44 años ininterrumpidos al servicio de la Secretaría de la Defensa Nacional, que iniciaron al egresar del Heroico Colegio Militar el primero de septiembre de 1982.

Previo a su nuevo nombramiento, se desempeñó como comandante de la Séptima Región Militar, en Tuxtla Gutiérrez, Chiapas y anteriormente como comandante de la Décima Zona Militar en el Estado de Durango, y en la Décima Zona Militar, en Guadalupe, en el Estado de Zacatecas.
