After 34 years, another country formally recognized Croatia: only two remain in the world

Croatia has received formal recognition from Bhutan, marking another milestone in its international relations. The Croatian Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs stated that this recognition results from the work of the government, the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs, Croatia's permanent mission to the United Nations, and the embassy in New Delhi. The move strengthens bilateral cooperation between the two countries, based on mutual respect and sovereignty. Previously, Croatia had maintained relations with Bhutan through the United Nations, but this formal recognition is seen as an

"Kao članica EU-a i NATO-a, Republika Hrvatska ostaje predana promicanju održivog razvoja, međunarodne suradnje, mira i stabilnosti, uključujući i kroz jačanje odnosa s partnerima u Aziji."
