Drohnenaufnahmen, die vom Australian Antarctic Program im Oktober und Januar durchgeführt wurden, zeigten «ernüchternde» Bilder von Robbenbabykadavern, die die grauen vulkanischen Küsten der Heard- und McDonald-Inseln übersäten, sagte Jarrod Hodgson, leitender Wissenschaftler der Organisation.
