Joan Jubany Itxart , padre de Helena Jubany y uno de los impulsores de la investigación del crimen de la joven ocurrido en diciembre de 2001, ha fallecido este lunes a los 81 años.

Jubany Itxart, profesor de lengua y literatura, fundó en 2008 la Associació cultural Helena Jubany i Lorente , de la cual era presidente, con la finalidad de preservar la memoria de la joven, cuya muerte investiga el Juzgado de Primera Instancia 2 de Sabadell (Barcelona), siendo Santiago Laiglesia el principal sospechoso del crimen.
