A motorboat has sunk near the Eagle's Nest Search for a drowning man

A motorboat capsized near Kotka's Kuutsalo, north of Vassara. Rescue operations are ongoing. According to the maritime rescue coordination center, there were two people on board, one of whom has been rescued. The second person is still being searched for. The boat was approximately seven meters long and covered. Emergency services were alerted in the late afternoon.

Moottorivene on uponnut Kotkan Kuutsalon koillispuolella, tiedottaa merivartiosto. Veneessä oli meripelastuskeskuksen tietojen mukaan kaksi henkilöä, josta toinen on pelastettu. Toista veneessä ollutta henkilöä etsitään edelleen.

Onnettomuus tapahtui lähellä Vassaarta. Pelastuslaitos hälytettiin paikalle iltapäivällä hieman ennen kolmea. Pelastustoimet ovat edelleen käynnissä ja niitä johtaa meripelastuskeskus. Veneestä pelastettu henkilö on toimitettu jatkohoitoon.

Uponnut vene oli noin seitsemän metriä pitkä katettu moottorivene.
