Monteoliva: It's ridiculous to think that ideological was prioritized at the farewell of the Indio Solari

Argentina's National Security Minister, Alejandra Monteoliva, dismissed claims that the government denied access to the Congress for the funeral of Carlos 'Indio' Solari due to ideological reasons. She stated that the event was well-organized by the Province of Buenos Aires and emphasized that it was impractical to hold such a large gathering in enclosed spaces like the Congress or the Casa Rosada.

La ministra de Seguridad de la Nación, Alejandra Monteoliva , calificó como “ridículo” pensar que el Gobierno nacional negó el Congreso para el velatorio de Carlos “Indio” Solari por un "criterio ideológico".

Además sostuvo en declaraciones a Radio Rivadavia , difundidas por NA , que debido a la enorme cantidad de gente que se preveía, no podía hacerse en “ningún espacio totalmente cerrado o con ingresos complejos” .

“ Pensar que tuvimos un criterio ideológico es totalmente ridículo , no tiene absolutamente nada que ver”, aseguró la funcionaria al tiempo que consideró que el acto de despedida del artista en Avellaneda “estuvo muy bien organizado” por la provincia de Buenos Aires .

En ese sentido evaluó que el hecho de que l a despedida de Solari “haya terminado sin ningún incidente es satisfactorio”.

“ E stuvo muy bien organizado y realmente creo que fue el lugar apropiado para congregar tantas personas”, enfatizó la ministra.

“Todos sabíamos que iba a ser algo significativo en cuanto al público que podía asistir, y no podía hacerse ni el Congreso ni en la Casa Rosada . Me atrevería a decir que no podía hacerse en ningún espacio totalmente cerrado y con ingresos complejos”, aseveró.

La funcionaria nacional explicó que desde el Gobierno “propusimos Tecnópolis”, para realizar la despedida pública de Solari, “pensando en los accesos”, pero recalcó que “ lo importante es que salió todo bien” .
