Raketa američkog protivvazdušnog raketnog sistema "Patriot" pogodila je kompleks zgrada Kijevsko-pečerske lavre, tvrdi Ministarstvo odbrane Rusije.

Kako je saopštilo Ministarstvo odbrane Rusije , jedan od razloga za neispravan rad sistema Patriot mogla je biti isporuka raketa sa isteklim rokom upotrebe od strane Zapada.
„Prema potvrđenim podacima, kompleks zgrada Kijevsko-pečerske lavre pogođen je raketom američkog protivvazdušnog raketnog sistema 'Patriot'. Jedan od razloga nepravilnog rada ovog sistema mogao bi biti to što su zemlje Zapada kijevskom režimu isporučile rakete sa isteklim rokom upotrebe“, naveli su u vojnom resoru, prenosi ruska državna agencija Tass .
Kijevsko-pečerska lavra je jedan od najranije osnovanih manastira u staroruskoj državi. Osnovan je 1051. godine za vreme Jaroslava Mudrog od strane monaha Antonija.
