Miguel Oliveira abandoned the second Superbikes race in Misano

Miguel Oliveira withdrew from the second Superbike race at Misano during the seventh lap after returning to competition following a shoulder injury absence. He finished sixth in the Superpole session earlier in the day. Italian rider Nicolò Bulega won the race, marking his 25th consecutive victory and 21st of the season, becoming the first rider ever to achieve seven hat tricks in a single season. Bulega overcame an early deficit to take the lead and maintain it until the finish line. Portuguese rider Miguel Oliveira ended up in ninth place before retiring. The next round of the World Superbik
