Hungarian government orders investigation of those responsible for seizure of Ukrainian gold and cash

The Hungarian government has ordered an internal investigation into the March incident where Hungarian authorities detained a group of Ukrainian banking officials transporting cash and gold through Hungary. The government returned the seized funds and gold to Ukraine in May. Prime Minister Peter Magyar announced the investigation, which involves the tax and customs administration, other agencies, and the anti-terrorism office. He also called on the chief public prosecutor to provide a statement on the matter.
