Man found dead in water

A man in his 70s was found lifeless in the water in Bjørnafjord. The police received an alert at 9 PM through AMK (Emergency Coordination Center). Emergency services including air ambulance, ambulance boat, police boat, and patrol units responded to the scene. The man was brought ashore and received first aid, but he was declared dead at the scene half an hour later. His next of kin have been notified.

Klokken 21 fikk politiet melding via AMK om funn av en livløs mann i vannet i Bjørnafjorden.
