600 years of the chapel of Mary Help

Na binkoštno nedeljo je župnija Lokev v sodelovanju z domačo KS začela niz dogodkov v počastitev letošnje 600-letnice gotske kapele Marije Pomočnice. Pri peti maši, ki jo je vodil domači župnik Slavko Obed, so prepevali domači pevci z orgelsko spremljavo Slave Umek, basista Orbana Malovca in opernega pevca Jožeta Oblaka. Leseni kip sedeče Marije z Jezuščkom na prestolu so v procesiji prenesli v kapelo Marije Pomočnice, kjer so odprli razstavo z naslovom Kapela Marije Pomočnice skozi čas , ki jo je pripravil Vojaški muzej Tabor Lokev in družina Rože. O pomenu najstarejšega sakralnega objekta sta govorila umetnostna zgodovinarka Aneja Rože Kravanja in župnik Obed. Srečko Rože je številne zbrane popeljal po bogati razstavi. Župnija je uspešno kandidirala na razpisu kulturnega ministrstva, ki bo za obnovo kapele namenilo 15 tisoč evrov, celoten projekt pa znaša 31 tisoč evrov, nekaj sredstev bo zagotovila Občina Sežana, zbirajo pa prostovoljne prispevke.
