Rain and lightning had gripped Alexandria, the firemen trained after the fires.

A heavy downpour occurred before the training session of the Croatian national team in Alexandria, but it stopped by the start of the session. Although thunderstorms and rain later affected Alexandria again, the training concluded as planned without interruption. Key data from applications indicated a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius and humidity at 68 percent.

Jak pljusak dogodio se prije treninga hrvatske reprezentacije, ali stao je do početka. A iako su munje i kiša kasnije ponovno okovali Alexandriju, trening je završen po planu te nije bilo potrebe za prekidom. Temperatura 29 Celzijevih stupnjeva, vlaga 68 posto, ključni su podaci s aplikacija.

Izbornik je imao kompletan sastav, radilo je svih 26 igrača, ali kako novinari imaju pravo pratiti samo petnaest minuta, nismo puno mogli vidjeti. To je bio prvi trening u Aleksandriji bez publike sa strane, a od medija pratili su ga samo hrvatski. U Njemačkoj na Euru dolazili su španjolski i talijanski novinari, ovdje, zasad, nema niti jednoga engleskog.

Klimatski uvjeti za treninge teži su nego što se očekivalo, mislilo se da će temperatura biti nešto svježija, no barem će se pripremiti za Dallas. Travnjak je dobar. Dražen Ladić priključio se stožeru, on je snimao Englesku, zajedno s izbornikom Zlatkom Dalićem i pomoćnicima Vedranom Ćorlukom i Ivicom Olićem bio je na terenu.

Podsjećao je da hrvatski sastav čine vratari Livaković , Kotarski i Pandur te igrači Stanišić , Gvardiol , Šutalo , Vušković , Pongračić , Erlić , Jakić , Modrić , Kovačić , Vlašić , Mario Pašalić , Luka Sučić , Petar Sučić , Baturina , Perišić , Musa , Matanović , Budimir , Marco Pašalić , Moro , Fruk , Ćaleta-Car i Kramarić .
