The Israeli military has released an updated map of its security zone in southern Lebanon, indicating no plans to withdraw from the area at this stage. The map shows a deployment line stretching east to west, extending up to 10 kilometers into Lebanese territory from the border. Izraelska vojska objavila je ažuriranu mapu svoje sigurnosne zone u južnom Libanu, uz poruku da se u ovoj fazi ne planira povlačenje s tog područja.

Linija raspoređivanja prikazana na mapi proteže se od istoka prema zapadu i ide do 10 kilometara u dubinu libanske teritorije od granice.

- Vojnici IDF-a raspoređeni su u određenom operativnom području u južnom Libanu i nastavit će uklanjati prijetnje te jačati odbranu stanovnika sjevera Izraela - saopćila je vojska.

Prema objavljenoj mapi, izraelske snage su napredovale dublje u Liban od aprila, kada je prvi put predstavljena “linija prednje odbrane”, uključujući i područje u blizini Nabatije.

Pitanje mogućeg povlačenja IDF-a iz dijelova južnog Libana i dalje je dio pregovora između Izraela i Libana, a novi sastanci pregovaračkih timova očekuju se naredne sedmice.

Izraelska vojska navodi da će u ovoj fazi zadržati kontrolu nad teritorijom “u skladu s operativnim potrebama”, uz cilj uklanjanja prijetnji vojnicima i zajednicama na sjeveru Izraela.

Također je upućen poziv libanskoj vojsci da koordinira svoje aktivnosti s IDF-om i da se ne približava sigurnosnoj zoni dok operacije traju.

Ova objava dolazi uprkos odredbama Memoranduma o razumijevanju između SAD-a i Irana, koji predviđa primirje i poštivanje suvereniteta Libana.
