Israel bricht wegen angeblicher Apartheid-Vergleiche vorerst den Kontakt zur EU-Außenbeauftragten Kaja Kallas ab. Der israelische Außenminister Gideon Saar erklärte heute, er kommuniziere nicht mehr mit Kallas, bis sie ihre Äußerungen zurücknehme.

Saar bezog sich auf einen Bericht des Nachrichtenportals Euractiv. Demnach soll Kallas das israelische Vorgehen im Westjordanland und im Gazastreifen mit der früheren südafrikanischen Politik der Rassentrennung gleichgesetzt haben.
