Tihana je inače profesorica na Kineziološkom fakultetu u Zagrebu i iza sebe ima profesionalnu nogometnu karijeru. Nogomet je aktivno igrala do 2008. godine, kada je u 20. godini bila prisiljena prekinuti karijeru zbog teške povrede. Nakon toga se uspješno počela baviti futsalom.
