Ushtruesja e detyrës së shefes së Zyrës së Bashkimit Evropian në Kosovë, Eva Palatova, ka bërë thirrje për përshpejtim të reformave dhe funksionalizim të institucioneve shtetërore, në mënyrë që Kosova të përfitojë plotësisht nga Plani i Rritjes i BE-së.
Palatova ka theksuar se Bashkimi Evropian ka vënë në dispozicion 880 milionë euro për Kosovën gjatë tre viteve të ardhshme, në këmbim të reformave që synojnë përmirësimin e klimës së biznesit dhe zhvillimin ekonomik.
“Në kuadër të planit të rritjes që e përmenda më parë, 880 milionë euro gjatë tre viteve janë të gatshme për t’u investuar në Kosovë në këmbim të reformave, Kosova ka paraqitur një agjendë ambicioze reformash në fushën e zhvillimit të sektorit privat dhe mjedisit të biznesit. Kjo agjendë reformash përfshin shtatë reforma kryesore dhe 26 hapa të drejtuara drejt nxitjes së investimeve dhe eksporteve, një kornizë rregullatore të thjeshtuar dhe efektive, dhe në fund promovimin e inovacionit dhe rritjes së qëndrueshme dhe gjithëpërfshirëse”, ka deklaruar ajo.
Sipas saj, BE mbetet partneri më i madh i Kosovës, duke investuar deri tani 3.7 miliardë euro.
“Ndërsa ndihma e Bashkimit Evropian fillimisht ishte e fokusuar në veprimet emergjente të ndihmës dhe rindërtim, tani ajo përqendrohet në rritjen e kapaciteteve të institucioneve të Kosovës, zhvillimin e qëndrueshëm ekonomik dhe integrimin evropian të Kosovës. Në kuadër të planit të rritjes që e përmenda më parë, 880 milionë euro gjatë tre viteve janë të gatshme për t’u investuar në Kosovë në këmbim të reformave”, u shpreh ajo.
