C’est un crime d’une sauvagerie extrême qu’a reconnu un adolescent de 15 ans résidant au Grau-du-Roi (Gard). Dans la soirée du 11 juin, le jeune homme jusqu’ici inconnu de la justice et des services de gendarmerie a avoué avoir tué, à coups de perceuse, une femme âgée de 86 ans. Mis en examen pour assassinat, il a été placé en détention, a informé la procureure de Nîmes Cécile Gensac lors d’une conférence de presse, ce jeudi.
Sans lien avec la victime, l’auteur aurait, de son propre aveu, prémédité son geste dans la journée cachant l’arme du crime dans un buisson avant de la récupérer plus tard non sans avoir mis des gants et utilisé un masque chirurgical afin de cacher son visage.

« Un besoin viscéral de faire mal »
Il aurait alors frappé sa victime par-derrière. Sans confirmer l’usage fait de l’arme du crime, la procureur a indiqué que la victime était décédée suite à « une perforation mortelle » au niveau du cou.
Chargés de l’enquête, les gendarmes ont rapidement retrouvé la trace de l’assassin présumé grâce à des témoins ayant vu fuir le jeune homme et l’aide des caméras de vidéosurveillance de la commune.
En l’absence d’un expert psychologue et psychiatrique disponible, l’état mental du mis en cause, demeure inconnu. Le jeune homme, scolarisé en troisième, réputé bon élève et entouré d’amis, aurait expliqué son geste par « un besoin viscéral de faire mal » , dixit la procureure, suite à des problèmes relationnels rencontrés au sein de sa famille. Une famille qui, consciente du mal-être de l’adolescent aurait en vain cherché à lui trouver un psychologue ou un psychiatre.
