First direct flights between Sydney and London next year

Australian airline Qantas plans to launch its first direct flight between Sydney and London in October next year. The route, named Solar Rise, will reduce travel time by four hours, cutting it down to approximately 19 hours. New long-range Airbus A350-1000ULR aircraft will be used for this flight. These planes are specially designed for long-haul flights and have an additional fuel tank of 20,000 liters in the rear section of the plane, allowing them to fly non-stop for up to 22 hours.
