The third edition of the conservation project for the Iberian ribbed newt (Pleurodeles waltl) has concluded with the reintroduction of nearly 100 individuals into their natural habitat. The initiative was led by Fundación Bioparc with collaboration from Caixa Popular and the Valencian Government’s Department of Environment, Infrastructure, Territory, and Recovery. Students from three Valencian educational centers participated in the effort.
