The State Attorney's Office of Mexico State (FGJEM) has charged Mayor Nancy Nápoles Pacheco of Tenancingo with 'false kidnapping' related to a case she previously reported being a victim of on May 31. The investigation found inconsistencies in her statements and evidence suggesting she orchestrated the fake kidnapping to justify a public funds shortfall of 40 million pesos from her administration. Toluca, Méx.— La Fiscalía General de Justicia del Estado de México (FGJEM) imputó a la presidenta municipal de Tenancingo, Nancy Nápoles Pacheco, por “falso secuestro” derivado que ella denunció que había sido víctima de ese delito el pasado 31 de mayo, por encontrar inconsistencias en sus declaraciones y los hechos investigados sobre cómo ocurrió el presunto crimen.
“De los actos de investigación se desprende que en dicha planeación y ejecución también habría participado la propia presidenta municipal, de iniciales N.N.P., quien pretendía justificar un faltante de recursos públicos por el mismo monto, generado en su propia administración”, expuso la institución mexiquense mediante un comunicado.
De acuerdo con la indagatoria, la alcaldesa, junto con su esposo, cuñado y tres personas más, ya detenidas, habrían planeado el autosecuestro para que se pagaran 40 millones de pesos del erario que, además, son un faltante de su administración.
Por ello, la dependencia estatal solicitó una audiencia de formulación de imputación, la cual se realizará el próximo 9 de julio.
Según la versión de la fiscalía, hubo inconsistencias en las declaraciones y lo que indagaron los agentes.
Por ejemplo, Nápoles Pacheco rindió su declaración y señaló que en esa fecha “estaba a bordo de un vehículo de la marca Volkswagen, tipo Jetta, color arena, estacionada afuera de mi domicilio, ubicado en el municipio de Tenancingo, cuando llegó un carro rojo con dos masculinos y una femenina, uno de ellos bajó, se me aproximó, me tomó del brazo y con un arma de fuego me amenazó para privarme de mi libertad obligándome a abordar ese vehículo, pero me dio tiempo de entregarle mis pertenencias a una familiar que estaba conmigo”.

Una vez a bordo de ese automóvil iniciaron su marcha y en algún momento “sus captores” le habrían entregado un teléfono celular para que se comunicara con sus familiares para que fuera ella misma quien realizara la exigencia económica a cambio de su liberación e instruyera que no se llevaran a cabo acciones operativas para su localización.
No obstante, testigos de los hechos solicitaron el auxilio de la policía municipal, cuyo director alertó de la situación a diversas corporaciones y fue éste mismo quien más tarde informó sobre la localización de la femenina.
Por los hechos están detenidos Karla Valeria “N”, Víctor Manuel “N” y Christian “N”, y hay órdenes de aprehensión contra José Roberto “N” y Óscar “N”, esposo y cuñado de la presidenta municipal de Tenancingo, respectivamente.
