Den Gesamtsieg holt der Toyota rund um die beiden ehemaligen Formel-1-Piloten Kamui Kobayashi und Nyck de Vries sowie Mike Conway. Der Wahl- Bregenzer René Rast wird zusammen mit seinen BMW-Teamkollegen Robin Frijns und Sheldon van der Linde Zweiter. Rang drei geht an den zweiten Toyota mit den beiden Ex-F1-Fahrer Sébastien Buemi, Brendon Hartley und Ryō Hirakawa.
Österreichs einziger Hypercar-Pilot, Ferdinand Habsburg , belegt im Alpine zusammen mit António Félix da Costa und Charles Milesi den sechsten Gesamtplatz.

In der LMGT3, der langsamsten Klasse beim Klassiker an der Sarthe, zittert Clemens Schmid zusammen mit Răzvan Umbrărescu. Denn in der Schlussphase pilotiert Teamkollege José María López den Akkodis-Lexus.
Trotz eines Kraftakts kann der Argentinier den auf Platz drei fahrenden Aston-Martin-Piloten Eduardo Barrichello, Sohn des ehemaligen Formel-1-Piloten Rubens, nicht mehr einfangen. Der Rückstand beträgt bei Zieleinfahrt 1,7 Sekunden.
