Este viernes 19 de junio de 2026 continúa la rotación del pico y placa en Medellín y los municipios del área metropolitana del Valle de Aburrá. La medida busca mejorar la movilidad y reducir la congestión vehicular en los principales corredores viales de la región.
Así opera el pico y placa en Medellín para el viernes 19 de junio
El pico y placa en Medellín opera de manera continua desde las 5 a. m. hasta las 8 p. m. Durante este horario, los vehículos con placas restringidas no podrán circular por las principales vías de la ciudad. La medida se aplica de lunes a viernes.
Para el viernes 19 de junio de 2026, la restricción aplicará para los vehículos particulares cuyas placas terminen en 2 y 8.
En el caso de las motocicletas, la medida también regirá para aquellas cuyo primer número de la placa sea 2 y 8 . La disposición incluye motos de dos y cuatro tiempos, mototriciclos, tricimotos y ciclomotores.
Restricción para taxis en Medellín
Para los taxis, la restricción del viernes 19 de junio de 2026 aplicará para los vehículos cuyas placas terminen en 3 . Estos automotores no podrán circular entre las 6 a. m. y las 8 p. m.
La medida para taxis busca contribuir a una movilidad más fluida y equilibrar la oferta del servicio de transporte público individual en la ciudad.

Vías exentas de la medida
Están exentas del pico y placa las vías de conexión regional y nacional como la Avenida Regional, Las Palmas y la vía a Occidente. También están excluidas las conexiones de la avenida 33 y la calle 10, así como los corregimientos.
En las vías internas de los barrios sí aplica la restricción. Además, la Avenida Regional y la Autopista Sur en los tramos ubicados en Bello e Itagüí no están exentas debido a decisiones de las administraciones municipales.
