Lideri Evropske unije usvojili su zajedničku izjavu podrške Ukrajini, prvi put uz saglasnost svih 27 država članica od marta 2025. godine.

U dokumentu usvojenom na samitu u Briselu, Evropsko vijeće optužilo je Rusiju za intenziviranje napada na ukrajinske gradove i energetsku infrastrukturu te pozvalo Moskvu da pristane na “potpuni, bezuslovni i trenutni prekid vatre”.
“ Evropsko vijeće poziva Rusiju da pokaže istinsku spremnost za mir, pristane na potpuni, bezuslovni i trenutni prekid vatre i uključi se u ozbiljne pregovore o pravednom i trajnom miru ”, navodi se u zaključcima.
EU je također poručila da ostaje odlučna dodatno povećavati pritisak na Rusiju i nastaviti slabljenje njene ratne ekonomije.
Kraj Orbanovih blokada?
Usvajanje zajedničke izjave smatra se značajnim pomakom u odnosu na prethodnih više od godinu dana, tokom kojih je Mađarska pod vodstvom Viktora Orbana često blokirala ili usporavala zajedničke evropske stavove o ratu u Ukrajini.
Nova mađarska vlada premijera Pétera Magyara nije se usprotivila zaključcima, što je omogućilo postizanje jedinstvenog stava svih članica.
Sadržaj dokumenta u velikoj mjeri prati poruke koje su ranije ove sedmice usvojile članice G7, uključujući podršku Ukrajini i pozive Rusiji da se ozbiljno uključi u mirovni proces.
U zaključcima se ne spominju direktni pregovori s Rusijom, iako pojedini evropski lideri zagovaraju otvaranje diplomatskih kanala prema Moskvi.
Budžet i migracije nova tačka sukoba
Nakon rasprave o Ukrajini, evropski lideri nastavili su razgovore o novom višegodišnjem budžetu EU za period od 2028. do 2034. godine.
Njemački kancelar Friedrich Merz poručio je da se protivi povećanju zajedničke potrošnje i dodatnom zaduživanju Evropske unije.
“ Ne smijemo ulaziti u nova zaduženja ”, rekao je Merz.
Pregovori o budžetu mogli bi trajati mjesecima, a među najspornijim pitanjima ostaju izdvajanja za poljoprivredu i raspodjela sredstava među državama članicama.
Istovremeno, većina članica EU pozvala je na ubrzano uspostavljanje centara za deportaciju migranata izvan teritorije Unije.
U pismu koje su inicirale italijanska premijerka Giorgia Meloni i danska premijerka Mette Frederiksen, 19 država članica zatražilo je da se što prije omogući uspostavljanje takozvanih “povratnih centara” u trećim zemljama za osobe kojima je odbijen azil.
Među potpisnicama nema Francuske, Njemačke i Španije, što pokazuje da su migracije i dalje jedno od najspornijih pitanja unutar Evropske unije.
