Egyptian Ambassador to Morocco Ahmed Nehad Abdel-Latif affirmed the strength and durability of Egyptian-Moroccan relations, noting that the historical cooperation between the two brotherly nations is long-standing and deeply rooted.

Speaking to the Middle East News Agency (MENA) on the occasion of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina’s participation in the embassy’s cultural salon, the diplomat said a shared cultural memory binds the two countries, characterized by close cooperation among intellectuals and artists alongside great convergence in regional and international forums.

Abdel-Latif added that culture plays a pivotal role in nation-building and fostering ties among peoples, serving as a bridge that consolidates understanding, tolerance, and human closeness.

The diplomate praised the role of the Bibliotheca Alexandrina as a global beacon for science and knowledge serving humanity, while highlighting the embassy’s cultural salon as a platform that strengthens connections between the Egyptian and Moroccan peoples.

Ambassador Abdel-Latif also commended the roles played by ALECSO and its Director-General Mohamed Ould Amar, ICESCO, and the Mediterranean Youth Forum headed by Yassine Isbouia in enriching cultural movement and human communication.

The Egyptian ambassador pointed out that the salon discussed digitization and its impact on Arab societies, particularly in light of the multiple challenges currently facing the world.
