Early childhood educators and primary school teachers on strike

This morning, the Fenprof union organized a public forum advocating for equity in single-teaching roles, where one teacher teaches multiple or all subjects to a class. The general secretary of Fenprof, José Feliciano Costa, explained that this scheduling discrepancy creates inequalities and makes no sense. The event took place near the Ministry of Education. Costa also noted that this argument joins the broader struggle of teachers, such as the fight for career recognition. At the end of the forum, a motion will be voted on and delivered to the Ministry of Education.

Esta manhã, a Fenprof organiza uma tribuna pública pela equidade na monodocência, que é quando um único professor ensina várias ou até todas as disciplinas a uma turma.

Ouvido pela RTP Antena1, o secretário-geral da Fenprof, José Feliciano Costa explica que este desfasamento no calendário cria desigualdades e não faz sentido.
