DSWD: Guaranteed letters now accepted in drugstore branches across PH

The Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) has announced that guaranteed letters issued to eligible beneficiaries are now accepted at select Generika Drugstore branches nationwide. MANILA, Philippines — Guaranteed letters issued by the Department of Social Welfare and Development (DSWD) are now accepted to select Generika Drugstore branches across the country, according to the agency.

A guarantee letter is issued to qualified beneficiaries to ensure payment to accredited providers for services needed, such as medical or burial expenses.

“Beneficiaries of Assistance to Individuals in Crisis Situations can now easily get medicines because they can use DSWD Guarantee Letters in select Generika Drugstore branches across the country,” DSWD said in an advisory.

The DSWD said that the guarantee letter can be availed in a beneficiary’s nearest DSWD Field Office of Social Welfare and Development Office.

“Just look for the signage “DSWD Guarantee Letter is accepted here” in participating Generika Drugstore branches near you,” it added.
