The Vancouver Folk Music Festival celebrates its 49th edition July 17-19 at beautiful ʔəy̓alməxʷ Jericho Beach Park. One of Vancouver’s signature summer events, the festival features all-day programming on three stages.
More than just a music festival, VFMF is a community celebration filled with dancing, storytelling, food, artisan markets and the stunning natural beauty of its oceanside site. This is a place where musical borders dissolve and the beach becomes a stage for cultural connection and discovery. Throughout the festival site, enjoy a vibrant mosaic of global artistry and Canadian heart all weekend long.
Main stage artists include Hazlett (Australia/Sweden), Billy Bragg (U.K.), Valerie June (U.S.), Amistat (Germany/Australia), Ruby Waters (Canada), Tami Neilson (Canada/New Zealand) and more. Global visitors include artists from Africa, Japan, Ukraine, Spain and Northern Ireland, with U.S. and Canadian artists rounding out the bill.
