She was about to end her life in a suicide forest.

Dozens of police officers with dogs searched overnight in the Branišovský Forest near České Budějovice for a missing woman who had reportedly gone there to end her life. Her sister reported her missing after she called saying she intended to end her life in the forest. The woman was found unconscious in the forest and had cuts on her hands.

Oznámení o tom, že žena je ve velmi špatném psychickém stavu a chce skoncovat se životem, dostali policisté ve středu kolem osmé hodiny večer. Na tísňovou linku volala sestra nešťastné ženy a řekla jim také, že mluvila o lese sebevrahů.

„Okamžitě se v rozlehlém Branišovském lese rozjela velká pátrací akce. Padala tma, pršelo a šlo o minuty. Do pátrání se zapojili policisté, strážníci, hasiči, kynologové, specialisté s drony i policejní vyjednavač. Propátrával se les i okolí a byl připraven vzlétnout i vrtulník,“ řekl mluvčí policie Jiří Matzner.

Kolem půl jedenácté policisté ženu našli. Byla v bezvědomí a zraněná na rukou, ale dýchala.

„Záchranáři ženu na místě ošetřili a převezli do nemocnice,“ dodal Matzner.
