Brescia, attempted strangulation of two children (including a 3-year-old) in a park: 29-year-old with mental problems arrested

A 29-year-old Nigerian man was arrested in Brescia after attempting to strangle two children, including a three-year-old, in a park. The suspect, who was under the influence of alcohol and drugs and suffers from mental health issues, was subdued by a passerby before police arrived. He has prior convictions for drug trafficking and resisted arrest with kicks and punches. Authorities have initiated proceedings for his expulsion from Italy.
