Boštjan Klun leaves the Maribor City Council and the Social Democrats

Boštjan Klun je ob zaključku današnje seje sporočil, da zapušča mestni svet, saj se vrača v rodno Izolo.

»Ne zato, ker bi mi bilo v Mariboru slabo, ampak zato, ker moram nekam, kjer pravijo, da je moje rojstno mesto napadeno,« je dejal Klun in dodal, da se za prihodnost kraja, ki ga poznaš in imaš rad, težko boriš, če nisi del dogajanja v lokalnem okolju.

Napovedal je, da bo odstopno izjavo uradno vložil v petek, s čimer bo njegov odstop tudi formalno stopil v veljavo. Ob tem je sporočil še, da zapušča tudi vrste Socialnih demokratov.

»Spoštovane in spoštovani, cenjena kolegica, dragi župan, hvala vam za vse lepe trenutke, ki smo jih preživeli skupaj,« je ob slovesu dejal mestnim svetnikom.
