Volos: Who and how extracted 370,000 euros from 13-year-old

Five individuals, including four minors, are under investigation by police in Volos for extorting €370,000 from a 13-year-old boy. A 34-year-old man was arrested. A friend convinced him to give up some of the fireworks, which ended up with the 34-year-old. Τέλος στη δράση μιας εγκληματικής οργάνωσης που εκβίαζε και προχωρούσε σε εμπρησμούς έβαλαν οι αστυνομικοί της Υποδιεύθυνσης Δίωξης και Εξιχνίασης Εγκλημάτων Κατερίνης . Οι Αρχές, συνέλαβαν τρεις άνδρες, ενώ αναζητούνται ακόμη δύο άτομα που είχαν εκτελεστικό ρόλο στη σπείρα .

Η οργάνωση είχε στηθεί από το καλοκαίρι του 2025 με έναν και μοναδικό σκοπό: τον συστηματικό εκβιασμό ενός επιχειρηματία. Εκβιασμοί, εμπρησμοί και ξυλοδαρμοί ήταν τα μέσα που χρησιμοποιούσαν.

Σε έρευνες που έγιναν βρέθηκαν συνολικά και κατασχέθηκαν: περισσότερα από 8.000 ευρώ, 40 πακέτα αφορολόγητα τσιγάρα, 3 κινητά τηλέφωνα και 1 συσκευή μέτρησης πρωτεΐνης και υγρασίας που είχε υποστεί επέμβαση, προκειμένου να παρουσιάζει αλλοιωμένες ενδείξεις μετρήσεων. Επίσης, ο έλεγχος έδειξε ότι η οικία του συλληφθέντα που είχε εκτελεστικό ρόλο, ηλεκτροδοτούνταν παράνομα.

Ακόμα, κατασχέθηκε και ένα όχημα, ως μέσο τέλεσης εγκληματικής πράξης. Η έρευνα συνεχίζεται για την ταυτοποίηση των στοιχείων των 2 μελών της οργάνωσης, που είχαν εκτελεστικό ρόλο.

Η ανακοίνωση της ΕΛΑΣ

Συνελήφθησαν προχθές (17 Ιουνίου 2026) από αστυνομικούς της Υποδιεύθυνσης Δίωξης και Εξιχνίασης Εγκλημάτων Κατερίνης, 3 ημεδαποί άνδρες, για τα αδικήματα της εγκληματικής οργάνωσης, της εκβίασης και του εμπρησμού.

Ειδικότερα, οι 2 από τους συλληφθέντες είχαν συγκροτήσει εγκληματική οργάνωση από το καλοκαίρι του 2025, στην οποία εντάχθηκε ο τρίτος συλληφθείς και 2 ακόμα άτομα, που είχαν εκτελεστικό ρόλο, με σκοπό την εκβίαση ημεδαπού άνδρα.

Όπως προέκυψε από την έρευνα, εμπλέκονται σε 4 περιπτώσεις εμπρησμού οχημάτων, εκ των οποίων οι 2 απόπειρες, σε οχήματα ιδιοκτησίας του παθόντα, της εταιρείας του και του γιου του, που έγιναν από το καλοκαίρι του 2025 έως τον Φεβρουάριο του 2026 σε περιοχές της Πιερίας και της Λάρισας.

Επιπλέον τον περασμένο Οκτώβριο ο συλληφθείς, που είχε εκτελεστικό ρόλο στην οργάνωση, με τη χρήση σωματικής βίας προκάλεσε σωματικές βλάβες στον γιο του ημεδαπού άνδρα.

Σε έρευνες που έγιναν βρέθηκαν συνολικά και κατασχέθηκαν:

- το χρηματικό ποσό των 8.050 ευρώ,

- 40 πακέτα τσιγάρων, για τα οποία δεν είχαν καταβληθεί οι νόμιμοι φόροι και δασμοί,

- 3 κινητά τηλέφωνα και

- 1 συσκευή μέτρησης πρωτεΐνης και υγρασίας που είχε υποστεί επέμβαση, προκειμένου να παρουσιάζει αλλοιωμένες ενδείξεις μετρήσεων.

Σε έλεγχο που πραγματοποιήθηκε στην οικία του συλληφθέντα που είχε εκτελεστικό ρόλο, με τη συνδρομή συνεργείου της ΔΕΔΔΗΕ, διαπιστώθηκε να ηλεκτροδοτούνταν παράνομα. Επίσης κατασχέθηκε και ένα όχημα, ως μέσο τέλεσης εγκληματικής πράξης.

Η έρευνα συνεχίζεται για την ταυτοποίηση των στοιχείων των 2 μελών της οργάνωσης, που είχαν εκτελεστικό ρόλο.

Οι συλληφθέντες, με τη δικογραφία που σχηματίστηκε σε βάρος τους, οδηγήθηκαν στον Εισαγγελέα Πρωτοδικών Κατερίνης και τους παρέπεμψε στον Ανακριτή.
