24 Hours of Prayer and Fasting for the Fatherland Before National Day

Pred dnevom državnosti vsako leto poteka 24 ur molitve in posta za domovino, letos ob 35-letnici samostojnosti pod geslom »Domovina – naša je in vsi smo njeni!«.

Letos bo 24 ur molitve in posta  od ponedeljka, 22. junija , od 18.30 do torka, 23. junija , prav tako do 18.30. To bo 24-urna priprava in uvod v sveto mašo za domovino. 24-urno molitev oblikujejo različne skupine doma in po svetu, pridružimo se ji tudi sodelavci Družine. Molitev poteka preko spleta in se ji bo tudi letos mogoče pridružiti na YouTube kanalu @druzinamedia .

24-urna molitev se bo sklenila v živo, v ljubljanski stolni cerkvi sv. Nikolaja, kjer bo v torek, 23. junija , ob 17.30 najprej molitvena ura , po njej pa ob 18.30 še tradicionalna sveta maša za domovino pred državnim praznikom. Sveto mašo bodo ob predsedniku Slovenske škofovske konference msgr. dr. Andreju Sajetu darovali slovenski škofje.

K zahvalni sveti maši za domovino ob dnevu državnosti so povabljeni predstavniki družbeno-političnega življenja in diplomatskega zbora. Pri bogoslužju bodo sodelovali člani Vojaškega vikariata pri SV, Policijskega vikariata ter predstavniki Enote za protokol s kvintetom pihal orkestra Slovenske vojske.
