12-year-old man responded with flash and care to two injured

A 12-year-old boy quickly provided first aid to two injured people after their car crashed into a ditch on the road between German Rott and Sorška Planina. The boy took action before emergency services arrived, treating a bleeding wound and instructing his mother to call 112. Local police praised his quick response, responsibility, and bravery, noting it was a good example of helping others. The local volunteer fire department also commended him on social media.

Mladi gasilec je poškodovancu nemudoma oskrbel krvavečo rano in mami naročil, naj pokliče 112.

Na cesti med Nemškim Rovtom in Soriško planino je v nedeljo zvečer osebno vozilo zapeljalo z vozišča in po strmem pobočju zdrsnilo v globel. Pri tem sta bili lažje poškodovani dve osebi, ki jima je na pomoč priskočil 12-letni Lan.

Deček je takoj po nesreči iz avtomobila, s katerim so se z družino pripeljali, vzel komplet prve pomoči in še pred prihodom intervencijskih služb na kraj poškodovanemu udeležencu nudil prvo pomoč ter mu oskrbel krvavečo rano. Svoji mami pa je naročil, naj takoj pokliče številko 112, so sporočili s Policijske uprave Kranj.

"Njegova hitra reakcija, prisebnost in pripravljenost pomagati so pomembno prispevale k temu, da je bila poškodovanemu pomoč nudena že v prvih trenutkih po nesreči," so zapisali. Policisti so se dečku zahvalili in njegovo ravnanje izpostavili kot "lep primer odgovornosti in poguma ter dokaz, da lahko tudi mladi s svojim znanjem in dejanji pomembno pomagajo, ko je to najbolj treba".

Dečku, ki je mladi gasilec, so se na družbenem omrežju Facebook zahvalili tudi v Prostovoljnem gasilskem društvu Bohinjska Bistrica. "Takšna dejanja kažejo, da gasilske vrednote - pomoč sočloveku, pogum in nesebičnost - živijo tudi med najmlajšimi. Lan, iskrene čestitke za hitro in prisebno ukrepanje," so zapisali.
