He also criticized the erosion of republican institutions, including the National Anti-Corruption Office (UIF) and the Office of Transparency and Public Integrity, which he argued have become increasingly ineffective in preventing such abuses. He is also president of the Civic Association Citizens Free for Institutional Quality and a member of the Reset Republicano movement.
